The program starts out on the graph screen and 2 accessory windows that show the spread contents. The graph view screen has 3 areas of importance. The Graph area shown by the green a, the spread bounds shown by the blue b, and and the toggle area shown by the red c.
The graph area is where the portfolio spread data is displayed. At the top left is the value displays of the value indicator planes. When viewing the option spread model in 3D to find the values you simply have to move the value indicator planes which we’ll talk about later. The graph itself is given by the strike price, days until opex and the spread value.
When the graph or logo first displays it is rotating. Pressing the space bar toggles this action on and off. This action works in windowed or fullscreen.
Any scroll action will zoom the graph in and out, moving the mouse around will move the graph around accordingly. Double clicking the graph area will toggle from zoom mode to the strike price value indicator plane. Scrolling the mouse wheel or track pad will move this indicator plane. Double click again and now move the Day indicator with scroll.

The segmented control shown above with the green arrow shows how to flip between each of the 3 screens. Currently the program is on the View screen. Pressing the Data segment control is the screen where data entry is done. The help screen takes you to the website for the help guide.

The area marked as be on the above figure are identical to the iPad/iPhone View Options Setting page. Here you can modify values and hit the Apply button and change the graph output.

Price Range (Max-Min) and Day Range (Max-Min) set the bounds for the graph. These values set the viewing range for the stock price and days left until opex.

Stock price and opex days are the values the view indicator plane starts at. Use these values if you have a price and day already in mind that you would like to know the value of a spread.

Interest rate and volatility are numbers in % to describe the environment of the options. These values weigh very heavily and can change very quickly changing the output of the model greatly. Make sure to monitor these closely and change them accordingly.

Ratio allows adjustment of the number of contracts in a spread. If the value of the spread is set at a minimal number then you can use this to adjust and find a quantity of options that matches your risk/reward tolerance.

AutoCalculate checkbox will prevent the Optionsinsight App from auto adjusting settings for viewing. The strike price and day are auto calculated when this is checked as you build the spread. Use the ReCalc button to make sure the spread values are sync’d to the current data. This ReSync button will not work if Auto Calculate is not checked. ReDraw simple does as it suggests and redraws the graph.

The Zoom/Strike/Day toggle will not only display from the graph view double clicks but can also be used to toggle the modes manually. The Snapshot button will create a snapshot of the current view. ⌘S is a hot key for this feature and will make a ping noise whenever pressed. The picture is saved to the desktop as a tiff image using the name provided in the snapshot filename textbox at the bottom of the page. The name will fill automatically with the the portfolio spread name but can be changed to customize it.
The go fullscreen button will make the graph go fullscreen and is much less congested. All the mouse and hot keys still work in this mode. Simply press ESC and you will return to windowed mode. The Toggle Graph button and the Optionsinsight Trademark button will simply turn the graph on and off and the Trademark will toggle the logo.

*** If the logo is appearing and doesn’t seem to go away then it most likely means there is no data to display and you’ll need to enter data. To create a graph there will need to be a portfolio name and a valid spread. ***
