    1.4 is available for download to your iPad or iPhone.   The program works best with an iPad but functions on the iPhone as well so you can take your spreads on the road.   1.4 contains significant updates that allow some great new ways to tinker with spreads in our new portfolio wizard.  Use the wizard to make changes to your option spreads and view the consequences of those changes in 3D!  Also, use the educational hints to guide you on your spread building.   See our coming soon for great new features slated for 1.5.

    The wait is finally over.    The first version available for download is now here, Optionsinsight version 1.2.   The Optionsinsight App is not just and App but and experience.  Use it to not only view options spread combos but touch them as well.   While the values in any mathematical model may vary from real life.  There will be features coming soon that fingerprint your favorite stocks under conditions you choose, that allow you to zero in on the correct price during real trading.   The initial model is based on a Black - Scholes approximation, but future additions are going to allow for a more empirical approach.  The best way to model real prices is simply to use them in the model.  The goal is to provide a tool that quickly assists the trader in options trades without getting carried away with an onslaught of technicalities that just bog you down in trading.

    Optionsinsight is not just an App its personal.   I, Scott Jenkins, founder and creator wrote this App to offset the lack of tools that existed that really give a visualization that makes any sense without hours of preponderance.   I started with a sketch drawing that was web based and when I saw the iPad, I knew that I had found a way to interact with the graph that no one had ever seen before.    Every successful trader knows that trading is constantly changing.   Each day we start anew and have to learn all over again, and like trading I believe this App will be constantly changing as well.  Even though the current model’s basis is old math, I want to change it to fit what you the user would like to see, and with what I have learned as well.    Together I think we can create the most unique and feature filled options App not only on the app store but ever used!
